If you want to be beautiful then you need to be healthyq it is as simple as that. Good health means eating right and getting plenty of sleep. It also means getting a good amount of exercise.

Eating for beauty means getting a decent among of fiber in your diet each day. A good among of fiber is 25 grams of it, this is easy to have as part of your daily intake. You can eat a good fiber based cereal in the morning for a simple solution.

Protein is another powerful tool to staying beautiful even as you age. For the best possible diet protein should make up at least 20 percent of all that you eat. The more protein that you eat the more energy you are going to have to get you through your day. This great food source is gong to keep you feeling and looking good in every way.

Exercise is important because it will get the blood really flowing in your body. It is the blood that will bring the essential oxygen to the skin to keep it flushed and fresh looking. It will bring many other nutrients as well, ones that will keep the pesky wrinkles and creases at bay.

Sleep is just as essential as any other part of your daily routine. Sleep is what is going to give you that extra boost every day. Sleep is when you let your batteries recharge. Your immune system and your cells will recharge like they need to while you sleep. If you have been eating right all of those great vitamins and minerals will really pay off while you sleep.

In order to stay pretty and young you need to have a balances life with a good diet, plenty of sleep to rejuvenate your body, and as much exercise as possible. Between these three key things you will be looking good long into your life.

www.infowars.com A significant milestone in the fight against fluoride emerged quietly and without major notice from the mainstream news last week. After decades of ignoring the research about the dangers and hailing water fluoridation as one of the 10 greatest health achievements of the 20th Century (CDC), the government is calling for a reduction in the amount of fluoride it adds to public water supplies, citing its negative effect on teeth (dental fluorosis). For the first time since 1962, the standard for fluoride will be lowered from 1.2 to 0.7 milligrams per liter. Because fluoride from water builds up over time in the human body, this reduction will not eliminate the dangers of fluoride– which include risk of bone cancer, bone fractures, thyroid disorder, brain inflammation, lowered IQ and mental functions, sterility or reduced fertility and more. However, it is a good sign that the powers-that-be are losing ground on the fluoride debate. Further, the reduction of fluoridation is proof that the warnings from activists, critics and health professionals have been heard after all. Too much fluoride in water, government says www.msnbc.msn.com Exclusive Infowars.com Interview w/ Dr. Russell Blaylock www.youtube.com Exclusive Infowars.com Interview w/ Dr. Paul Connett www.youtube.com www.cdc.gov www.google.com www.infowars.com www.fluoridealert.org thyroid.about.com www.fluoridation.com ehp03.niehs.nih.gov www.theforbiddenknowledge.com www.fluoridation.com www.nteu280 …

My Dr. and I just discusses this last week. Not all people who go through that are going through it due to being lazy. I have limited things i can do as of exercise as i was a passenger in a car accident that almost broke my neck. My feet are bad and i can't walk much or use a tread mill.

Dr. talked about this due to trying to help me lower my blood pressure, diabetes, high cholestrol, ect.

I will review all the info here and all the sites you listed and talk to my Dr. again. Thank you Ziggy for your information.

keep an online food diary, http://www.myfooddiary.com is a very popular one

3 small healthy meals and evening snack

the snacks I do are sugar free jello or sugar free pudding ( the jello is actually lower in calories & fat, so try to stick to it for a snack)

2-3 cups of coffee/tea are ok, no pop not even diet pop – lately studies have been showing that artificial sugars are making it hard for our bodies to shed those extra pounds

the fluffy/coffee's add alot of unwanted calories to your daily diet — cutting those out alone will help tremendously

my absolute no-no’s are NO bread, Nothing with flour (any variety of flour), Nothing carbonated, obviously No candy or junk food of any kind, & No skipping a meal even if it is a very small meal, eating 3 – 4 times a day is very important when reducing intake & trying to loose weight

4+ 16 oz bottles of water (at least) — drinking lots of water is very important to weight loss

calcium, vitamin C B12 E, multi-vitamin, fiber ——– these supplements are very important as you are cutting back your normal food intake, they will help you keep your energy level up

exercise 45 – 60 minutes a day, or at least 3 times a week

helpful side note — remove ALL temptation clean your house of all junk food, candy, heavy carb foods – basically anything you should not eat, should not be in your reach — clean out your office space as well, avoid the office areas which usually contain the fatty/junk foods

yes these are hard things to do, but if you want to meet your goal it will be well worth it

Here's a good free website for info: bodybuilding.com

Don't worry, it's not just for guys trying to be like the hulk, there's plenty of good info for whatever goal you're looking for. I HIGHLY recommend the fitness magazine "REPS!"

I'll tell you briefly some of the best foods to eat:

Chicken Breast
Turkey
whey protein powder
Sirloin
Sweet Potatoes/Yams
Wheat/sourdough breads
Wheat pasta
brown rice and quinoa
eggs
Old fashioned oatmeal
olive oil
peanut/almond butter
any veggies

If possible, buy protein powder from costco or sams club. $29-32 for 6+ lbs of powder. That would normally cost about $70-100 at GNC or other health stores. It's not as ultra-pure as those designer proteins, but you're not competing in Mr. Olympia right?

Ditch most sugary, packaged cereals as they usually have high glycemic index ratings and spike insulin, creating fat. Say bye-bye to soda, candies, juices and fast food (except on cheat days, read about that on the website).

You can actually make healthy versions of pancakes, pizzas, and other baked foods using whole wheat dough and flour, low fat cheese, lean meats, spices and vegetables.

Good luck man

The energy you expended doing this search would have been much more effective if you had expended the same amount of time exercising.

hey shelbs,

Rather than aiming to lose weight, you should aim to tone yourself. By creating muscle you will become a better shape, and possibly lose fat, but not become any lighter.

Arms:
Grab a can in each hand (a normal soup or tinned fruit can will do) stand with your arms by your side. Lift arms slowly up sideward until level with your shoulder, and slowly back down to your side. Repeat 5 times
Try the same, lifting your arms infront of You, and lastly by turning your hands to face forward and bending your elbows up.

Legs:
Holding the same cans by your side, stand with one foot half a meter in front of the other. Drop your hips and bend your knees until your back knee almost touches the floor, then bring your body back up. Repeat 5 times, then swap legs.

Tummy:
Lie on your stomach with your legs together. Hold your hands in a fist at your forehead and keep your elbows together. Lift your whole body up until it is level, using your tummy to keep your balance. Count to 60, then rest for ten seconds (this is really hard to do. Try 10 seconds first, then build up)

That should get you started! And remember, more muscle burns more fat!

One of the websites I frequent for healthy meal ideas is called WORLDS HEALTHIEST FOODS. It's fantastic and has a ton of idea's. The meals are fairly quick and easy as well.

Your other option is simply to eat what's given to you but cut back on the portion sizes of the foods that are higher in calories and eat more of the vegetables that are served (which are full of fiber and will keep you feeling fuller for longer).
