If you’ve been listening to my whisper vlogs, you know that I have been sick the past few days. Today I had to go to the hospitals to get an IV in my arm and get fluids. I spent about 2 hours in a quiet room by myself, very close to their lobby. I had my phone with me, and I was feeling really relaxed from the sounds from outside, so I recorded the soft movement, mumbling, typing, ringing and A/C sounds. The point of this video is to be quiet, so if you have trouble hearing everything– that’s the point of the relaxation. I hope this helps some of you!

I would be very surprised if Shands Hospital didn't have a program for mental health and autism. Although I am sure you know where Shands is, but just in case, it is just north of you in Alachua County at the University of Florida… which is one of the two top research and learning hospitals in the state.
Although I don't know if it helps you much, but in Weston (Broward County) there is a "Dan Marino Miami Childrens Hospital" which specializes in autism (as Dan Marino has child with autism)… I know it is far but something you may want to look into…
You might check around to find out which hospitals in Florida were funded in 1946 by Congress. Any facility that received money from the US government offers the Hill-Burton free or reduced rates for medical care for those who qualify.

I've seen thousands of surgeries and have never seen a skin incision done with a laser. Patients ask about lasers for surgery all the time, and we do use them, but it's not nearly as cool as you might think. Use of lasers adds time and expense to surgeries.
Scalpels make a clean incision. It's how the wound is CLOSED that makes the difference, IMO. But I'm not a surgeon.

You could ask a Christian church for prayer. God is love and knowing God can transform your life.
