This is the VOA Special English Development Report, from voaspecialenglish.com | http A medical aid program in Kenya offers hope to women and girls suffering from a condition known as fistula. About two million women and girls worldwide have the condition. There are about one thousand new cases of fistula each year in Kenya and as many as one hundred thousand worldwide. Most cases of fistula are in Africa and Asia.In July, the African Medical and Research Foundation held a medical camp in Kenya to provide free operations to those with the condition. A fistula is a hole that develops between two organs. Obstetric fistulas are caused by obstructed childbirth. When a baby’s head is stuck in the birth canal for an extended period of time, it cuts off the blood supply to the woman’s surrounding organs. This causes the tissues to die. The woman is left with a hole between her vagina and her bladder or rectum. This causes her to continuously leak urine or feces. It may also prevent her from having other children, or having sexual relations. If left untreated, fistula can cause other health problems. These include skin infections, kidney disorders and even death. Many women suffer intense shame and social rejection because of their condition. Rose Opiyo developed fistula during childbirth twenty-three years ago. She said: “I had many problems. I could not go to my farm, or conduct my business; there was nothing I could do. When you have this kind of a problem, you can only take …

You've completely missed the psychological aspect. And to say that psychology has no effect on human health would be absurd.
I think that, generally, women are more attached to their lives than men. Women attach themselves emotionally to their children, their grandchildren, their friends, etc. As men get older, they have a tendency to become reclusive and solitary. Consequently, they lose their will to keep going because they no longer have anything around them worth living for.
In short, men die sooner and women die later by choice.
Restate the thesis, give a short summary of all the paragraphs, and leave a final statement that makes people think about what they read.
Infertility is not a known side effect of Norvasc. If this drug were to have sexual side effects, it would probably affect performance, not fertility. I would strongly recommend having your sperm count checked.
i dont get what is the ending about ? anyone please care to explain ?
Very Nice Movie…heart touching….matching to a lot of real stories…
@65don65 haha no your english is perfect . Thanks for your help dude but i got all that part , im talking about right at the end .. who is that coming in that sort of carriage thing ? what is that about ?
My sister and I enjoyed this movie already and it was incredible! We found it at movietoob.us.
Never thought about it that way but I suppose anything is possible.
Because we don't have a group who would lobby for something like that while women have a gazillion women-only groups lobbying for their cause.
But to be honest, such groups that only care about one part of the population while completely ignoring the other will only cause further division in society and will end up doing a lot more harm then good.

EDIT:
@Black American Christian Woman,
how about reading the other part of my post, I believe those groups that only promote one's interests over the other are BAD to say the least, why would I want to be a part of something I consider to be bad?

EDIT:
@Dark eyes,
"It's only been recently that it's even been brought to light that women even have heart issues"
Not true.
"Heart studies have always been based on men's symptoms and conditions for heart disease."
True. And women's heart conditions really are different then men's and really do need different attention and research. I agree to this.

of course just tell me which part you didnt understand…
I've got organ failure now because of all the drugs I've been on over the last 5 years ironically to control depression. I don't know what is causing my bloating and pre-diabetic state but it's made me 10 times worse. Whether it's chemicals in food or the drugs I'm on. My life has been one long round of hospital visits. My husband left me in the meantime. I used to be normal looking. My psychiatrist won't test me for bipolar. I asked her today. Maybe it's a good thing otherwise I might have been put on Seroquel.
@65don65 i did not understand what happened right at the end ..
You don't mention your age, but I suspect it is under age 40. (e.g. younger) Transiently elevated blood pressures are not particularly dangerous to a younger person. Running down the street will physiologically cause your blood pressure to naturally elevate while engaged in that activity.
Whereas any period of sustained blood pressure is not ideal, a few weeks of elevated pressures should not cause much trouble. I would not go longer than a year with untreated blood pressure – even as a young person. There really is no data to determine exactly how long it will take elevated blood pressure to cause damage. Everyone's system is different and will react differently to high blood pressure. We do know over the long term – typically decades – that damage can be done to the kidneys, eyes, heart, and brain among other systems.
Hypertension as you describe is an unusual side effect from taking either of the medications you mentioned. There seems to be more to the story – why would you still have nausea, pain and vomiting after 10 weeks of treatment with two reflux agents? I would ask to be referred to a gastroenterologist (GI doctor) for further evaluation and treatment – even if the treatment provided is working, it is not fixing the severe presenting symptoms and has some odd associated symptoms – thus, begging the question: Is this only reflux?
I hope this helps. Good luck.

Get into personal counseling first off. I myself am a Hypertension, Hypothyroid sufferer and a former Bulimia,depression sufferer in recovery for those 2 things. Counseling and antidepressants are essential for you at this point. You have to fix the depression first before anything else honey. Once you spend a few months in therapy you will see what i'm talking about, IT WILL HELP!! The weight loss and what not is going to be a LIFE CHANGE, so you have to start at the roots of your problems which is your depression. Because only once your happy with you and able to cope with your diseases will you be able to make good life choices. Trust me, i spent over 10 yrs feeling just like you and the only thing that finally fixed me was hard core therapy for 1 1/2 years some antidepressants for 1 year and now i am well.
Your right in your thinking that these problems feed into others because they do. My depression led to my ED(eating disorder) which led to my Hypertension (a side effect of purging) and then my Thyroid problem was genetic and it all just snowballed on me. But my counselor explanied that depression is the root source for all these other things. Until you fix that nothing will work.
nice movie
